The Peacemaker's Pledge

If you are ready to make a personal choice to be a peacemaker, we invite you to sign the Peacemaker's Pledge.

I Pledge:

  • To reject hatred in all its forms, including hateful rhetoric, division, and violence of any kind.
  • To treat others with respect, compassion, and dignity, regardless of political, cultural, or other personal differences.
  • To seek personal transformation, striving to become a person who pursues love, peace, and forgiveness in every aspect of life.
  • To model civility in public discourse, listening with respect and responding with dignity while seeking tolerance of opposing opinions.
  • To model civility in online discourse, choosing words that reflect restraint, humility, and respect, even in disagreement.
  • To seek common ground and build bridges where divisions exist.
  • To encourage others - whether leaders, neighbors, or community members - to choose compassion and respect over hostility and hate.
This pledge is grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ, who called His followers to love beyond boundaries, refuse hatred, and pursue peace:

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” — Matthew 22:39

“Blessed are the peacemakers.” — Matthew 5:9

“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” — Matthew 5:44

“Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” — Luke 6:37

“Let your speech always be gracious.” — Colossians 4:6

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” — Romans 12:21

Antiha affirms that while people may differ in belief, politics, or culture, love for one’s neighbor is not optional. We believe Christ’s example calls us to reject hatred, speak with grace, and pursue peace in both our words and actions, and that following Christ means more than rejecting violence - it means becoming people shaped by love, peace, forgiveness, and restraint, in private life, public life, and online spaces alike.
